Designed as a multifunctional library and workspace, this renovation reimagines an underutilised room through bespoke joinery and thoughtful spatial planning. A continuous built-in desk spans the curved window wall, creating generous dual workstations while maximising natural light. Custom cabinetry integrates opening shelving, concealed storage and display niches, transforming every surface into a purposeful architectural element. A restrained palette of stained timber, dark walnut accents and brushed brass detailing lends warmth and visual depth, while concealed lighting highlights curated displays and enhances the room’s intimate atmosphere. Every component is carefully considered, from integrated drawers and technology storage to full-height shelving and tailored display unit, resulting in a highly functional environment that seamlessly balances work, reading and collection display. The outcome is a library where craftsmanship, efficiency and refined detailing converge to create a calm workspace.
